A new mixed-use commercial and residential project on 13 acres in Kennett Square will bring townhomes, apartments, retail, event space, and walking trails to a strategic location in the community in 2021.
“It’s the gateway to Kennett,” developer Don Robitzer said of the parcel located at the intersection of East Cypress Street and Ways Lane.
The project will be called Kennett Pointe and will have two components: 53 townhomes built by Montchanin Builders, and a 40,000-square-foot mixed-use building with nearly 14,000 square feet of ground floor retail space with 24 one- and two-bedroom apartments above, developed by The Commonwealth Group.
